The Iberian Peninsula

This map is made by my daugher, Ea Tønnesen, aged 13 at the time. She is a huge fan of Ticket To Ride. The map shows Spain and Portugal and some parts of northern Africa.

The map can be printed on 12 A4-pages using either the PDF or the individual JPGs in the ZIP-file. The destination cards is designed to be printed on Avery C32011/C32016 (Business Cards) or on plain A4 paper. There is an optional backside included in the set.

Rules

In order to play, you will need the trains, the colored markers for each players and the train cards from the original game (either the USA- or the Europe-version). If you don't own these game, I encourage you to buy it. You can play by the rules from the USA-version or the Europe-version. If you use USA-rules, you just have to ignore the ferries and the tunnels.

The destination cards is divided into two categories: short routes < 19 and long routes > 19 points. In the European version of the game, each player is dealt three short routes and one long route at the beginning of the game and has to keep at least two routes. In the USA-version, the destination cards is mixed and you are given three to keep one.

The game also includes 20 bonus cards with texl only in Danish. Each player is dealt 1 bonus card at the beginning of the game and is free to use it when suitable. Each player can draw another bonus card from the deck instead of building a route/station, drwaing destination card or drawing a wagon/locomotive.
